Travelling with your favourite fragrance can go one of two ways.  You can take your full size bottle and risk it smashing in your suitcase.  I will never forget the scent of Drakkar Noir filling our holiday apartment circa 1990… thanks Dad… Or you can decant into a refillable spray bottle.

I travelled recently with my pink Flo refillable atomiser, and always have my black one in my handbag (silver also available!).  They’re the perfect travel companion whether you just need an extra spritz while out for the day, or if you’re going away and don’t want to recreate my 1990 experience.

However, if the brand of your choice does have a travel edition, then grab it.  It’s a little extra luxury, and will hold that little bit more than a refillable will.

I know that Thierry Mugler’s scents are very much love or hate, there’s little in between, but Angel and the new Alien seem to capture both ends of the olfactory spectrum.

And with handy purse sprays that you can also refill, then these are perfect traveller companions.
